Sheba's Story
Sheba is a beautiful 3-year old female Shepherd/Great Pyrenees/Husky mix who was surrendered by her owner to the HSOV on January 26, 2024.

Sheba has a cream-and-black coat, a long tail, and a gorgeous face with a slender muzzle and large erect ears. Her left eye is blue, and her right eye is brown which gives her a very unique appearance.

Her family told us that Sheba is selective about which dogs she will get along with. She is not good with small/young children but should be ok with older children/teenagers. Sheba cannot be trusted around horses or cats.

Sheba is housebroken.

Sheba has some separation anxiety issues and needs assurance that her family will always come back home since she doesn't like to be left alone. Sheba tends to have resource guarding tendencies with regard to her food.

Sheba weighs 56 lbs. She will be spayed before being adopted by her new family.

Sheba went home with a foster family on December 7, 2024 who planned to adopt her after she was spayed.

Update: Sheba was returned to HSOV on October 12, 2025 and is once again available to be fostered or fostered-to-adopt with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.
