Hello, my name is Shea/Shy! <br/><br/>I'm an absolutely beautiful female Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix who was born around 07/12/22! I'm 62 lbs., spayed, heartworm-negative and current on my vaccines/preventatives. <br/><br/>I was rescued from a tiny apartment filled with dogs and wasn't being properly cared for. I'm currently staying in a loving foster home where my foster mom says I'm house, leash and crate-trained as well as great with other dogs, kids and cats! I would LOVE to become part of your family. <br/><br/>I am kennel trained and walk great with a lead. I'm potty trained and good with other dog's... but I'm not too fond of cat's. I'm kinda high energy, I love and am very gentle with kids... I even let them crawl on me, even the small children. But that falls into place because people are my favorite things in the world! The Artemis Project Inc's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. The links to both our dog AND cat applications are on our website at https;//www.TheArtemisProjectRescue.org and can also be found below. We check their vet reference, and make sure the adoption applicant's living arrangements will provide a suitable environment that will match the personality and energy level of the animal. Once the application is reviewed and the vet reference checked, we will also schedule a home check and a meet-and-greet, especially if there are current pets in the home. Once the adopter is approved, they sign a contract and pay our adoption fee. We will also follow-up periodically to provide support and to share their happy ending stories on our social media as well.
