Apply to Adopt Me!<br/><br/>Meet Shay aka Grover. I am an approx. 5-year-old, 10lb. male chihuahua mix. I came out of a hoarding situation so I am learning a lot of new things. I am working on my crate training and am doing really well on my leash walking. I am house trained and I absolutely love car rides and am very comfortable riding in my doggy car seat. Stroller rides with my foster siblings make for a good day for me too. I go to restaurants with my foster mom and sit very quietly in my stroller. I'm very playful and would really love a playmate my size and energy level to keep me company and share in the fun. However, I have to be honest - I might not do well with small kids because I can be a bit mouthy sometimes. I'm also learning not to chew on everything! I am given hard bones to chew because soft toys tend to obviously be my enemy because I want to destroy them and then I could swallow something I shouldn't. My foster mom keeps things I shouldn't get into away from my reach and I am getting better everyday. I am a great sleeper - sleeping all night long in bed with my foster mom and doggy siblings. I am a total cuddle bug. Where you go, I go and will be your shadow. I am not a big barker, I don't mind baths, vet visits or nail trims. When I do not want to do something, I cutely fall down like a dead weight. I would love a fenced yard to run and play in, but as long as you are active and can take me on several walks a day, I might consider you too. It is required that I have a fur sibling buddy to play with, which will also help me feel comfortable in my new home.
