Shay would benefit from continued desensitization work around high-value chews, as she can<br/>be protective of her special treats. Because of this, she should not be placed in a home with small children. With clear structure, consistency, and positive training, Shay can continue to build confidence and healthy habits.<br/><br/>Shay would also prefer to be the only dog in the home, as she did not show comfort around other dogs. She’s happiest when she doesn’t have to share her space and can soak up all the attention for herself! <br/><br/>If you’re an experienced, patient adopter looking for a one-and-only companion to bond with, Shay may be your perfect match.
