Shawnee is a 2 year old female Shepherd / Pyrenees mix that was trapped in order to bring her to safety. She had been running and no one was looking for her, so the only safe way to get her caught was the humane trap. She was almost relieved, as most dogs are, to get caught and get to safety. We will never understand how dumping a dog on a back road to starve or run the risk of being hit by a car, is better than bringing it to safety where they have food, water, and shelter from the weather. She is safe and looking for a new home that will love her forever.
