Shaw was seized by federal law enforcement when he was 8 weeks old and his previous owner was sent to prison for animal cruelty. Unfortunately, because Shaw was considered evidence in the trial he was required to stay in a federal holding facility for over a year before being released. He only had two weeks to find placement and our rescue was lucky enough to be able to welcome sweet Shaw into our program before he was euthanized.<br/>Shaw is playful and energetic, sweet and funny and the type of dog that you can take anywhere. Shaw has never met a stranger and loves other dogs. Because he's still a young guy who has never lived in a home, he'll need an adopter that will will be willing to spend time showing Shaw how to be an inside dog.
