It's hard to believe this happy girl is the same dog who arrived at the shelter as nothing but skin and bones. Thankfully, those days are behind her, and now all she wants is love, belly rubs, and a family to call her own.<br/><br/>Shania has the sweetest smile, the prettiest eyes, and a heart thats just as beautiful. She's incredibly affectionate, loves soaking up attention, and is always ready to brighten your day with her goofy, happy personality.<br/><br/>She's also great with other dogs and, at just 37 pounds, she's the perfect size to curl up in your lap after a day of adventures. <br/><br/>Shania has overcome so much already. Now she's just waiting for someone to give her the happy ending she's been patiently hoping for. <br/><br/>Shania is a 1 year old Pit Bull Mix and she weighs 37 lbs. <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
