Shane's Story

Hello, my name is Shane! I am a silly boy and love to go on walks. I do pretty well on a leash! I get excited when I'm getting attention, I bounce around and try to get even more pets! I am curious and love smelling everything outside. Don't be alarmed by my size, I don't really jump on people. I have been with HSOY since December 2025. I need a good home where I can receive lots of love and give it back! Speak to an adoptions counselor and take me home!

Humane Society of Yuma's Adoption Policy

We Have 2 locations for adoptions. The main shelter 4050 S. Ave 4 1/2 E ( 5 DAYS A WEEK) OR PetSmart adoption center,( located inside of PetSmart in the Yuma Palms Mall) Monday - Saturday 9:30am- 8pm Sunday 10:30am- 6pm. Not all the animlas seen on the website are able to come to the adoption center, call for the adoption location of a certain pet. Adoption fees range from $0-$250. This includes Spay/Neuter, vaccinations, microchip for dogs. License extra. Open 5 days a week. Adoption hours Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30pm Office hours 9-5pm 4050 S.
