Shamus's Story

Dear sweet, loveable, Shamus! Shamus came to us as stray in June of 2023. He is between 3-4 years old and weighs in at about 70 lbs. When Shamus first arrived he had little to no leash manners but with hard work and dedication, He was improved nicely and now loves to go for walks with his favorite staff. Shamus is not fond of other animals, So no cats, dogs, or small animals in the home for him please! He does good with children but thinks he is a small lap dog and not aware of his size and would probably knock them over (not on purpose of course!). Shamus is crate trained and when routinely/regularly taken out is house trained as well. He does good with hard toys and bones (no food aggression) and he absolutely loves ripping apart a stuffy, taking all the stuffing out, and lovingly carries around the shell!! If you have large dog handling skills and wouldn't mind attending extra training classes with our hunk Shamus, He is waiting to meet you! Stop in today or visit us online to fill out an application!

A wonderful human and put $100 towards Shamus' adoption fee in hopes to help find him a forever home.
