Meet Shamus
Shamus is a 9-10 year old Maltese mix who came to us as a stray and was never claimed. He was quite dirty and matted, so he got a nice "spa day" at the groomers. Shamus has limited vision from cataracts, but can still see just fine and has no problems getting around. He loves to go for walks and appears to be housebroken. He has been fine with all of the small dogs he has met at the shelter. Being an older gentleman, Shamus doesn't need too much exercise and is happy when he is cuddling in your lap, or being close to his friends. He is a pretty easy going dog with lots of love left to give. When Shamus is adopted, he will be neutered and have a dental cleaning and extraction performed. A shelter is no place for a sweet senior like this guy, come check him out ASAP!
