Shakira has the personality of a big dog in a small package, she is confident, good on the leash, loves to walk and play fetch. Shakira loves making friends and does so easily, she jumps on laps, takes treats and is the life of the party. She is pretty housetrained, although we never promise 100% and has good manners. She is a bossy little girl inside her home, so would like to be an only dog or in a home with a passive dog (preferrably a male).<br/>Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested in may be a candidate for long distance adoption. We may consider long distance adoptions for dogs who have been in our rescue for 6 + months with no local candidates.<br/>If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues, please visit our main website for adoption procedures at www.pupsandpals.net and then fill out our application. We do not have a shelter/kennel. Our pets are fostered/boarded all over LA and Orange County. <br/>This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in.
