Meet Shaiman! <br/><br/>Shaiman is a sweet, loving, snuggly Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He adjusted to home life incredibly quickly and has already mastered the very important art of sofa naps! He'll happily follow you from room to room and loves being part of whatever his family is doing.<br/><br/>Shaiman is fully house trained and figured out how to stand by the door when he needs to go outside by just his second day in foster! He also does wonderfully in a crate and settles nicely.<br/><br/>This boy LOVES to chew! He's a serious power chewer who enjoys tough toys and bones, but the good news is that he has been great about only chewing things that belong to him.<br/><br/>Shaiman is curious, confident, and pretty brave. He walks nicely on leash overall, although he can pull toward other dogs or people when he gets excited. He also had a blast exploring on a long lead! He knows come, sit, and lay down-although sometimes he suddenly "forgets" when treats aren't involved. <br/><br/>Shaiman can be protective of high-value toys and bones and has snapped when someone tried to interfere with them. He can also get a little mouthy when he's excited, wants to play, or is demanding more pets. Because of this, we think he would do best in a home without small children and with a family that can continue working with him on appropriate boundaries and resource guarding.<br/><br/>Underneath it all, Shaiman is an affectionate, loyal boy who has absolutely loved getting to experience life in a home. If you're looking for a devoted sidekick, professional couch snuggler, and four-legged shadow, Shaiman might just be your guy!
