Shadow

Meet Shadow. This spunky, sweet little guy had a rough start to life but you'd never know it now. He is playful and affectionate and eager to please. Shadow thrives when he is with his people and enjoys other dogs. He is wonderful with children (he currently is being fostered in a home with four children ranging in age from six to thirteen)—he loves them, takes commands from them, and lets them walk him and care for him. <br/><br/>Shadow has already learned how to sit and is working on learning to shake hands. He is making great strides with potty training—he has learned to ring the bells on the door when he needs to go outside. Shadow enjoys walks and is working on his leash manners (though honestly, they're already pretty great for a puppy!). He is crate-trained during the time that his foster family is away and at night; he keeps a clean kennel and sleeps well through the night. <br/><br/>He loves to romp and play and would do well in a home with another active dog or an active family and a fenced in yard. He is a Weimaraner/German Shepherd mix and will be a big boy, but he doesn't quite know that yet—he is a snuggler who will quite contentedly curl up in your lap to nap if given the opportunity. We would love for him to find his forever home and for his new family to enjoy his antics and adorableness as much as we have!
