Shadow is a senior dog who previously lived outside. He has been anxious in the shelter environment, and doesn’t like the cement floors, because it’s hard for him to get up and down. Shadow is becoming accustomed to being leashed to enter and exit the kennel. He walks well on leash, likes to explore, and prefers to toilet in the grass. Shadow has been showing glimpses of playfulness. He takes treats gently and can catch them when they’re tossed to him. Shadow does not like to return to the kennel and is vocally dramatic about it. Shadow was not reactive when in proximity to smaller dogs.
