He’s full of life, joy, and tail wags – the perfect companion for an active family who wants a loyal friend by their side.<br/><br/>Shadow’s story is bittersweet. He was found as an abandoned puppy at 4 months old. The rescue took him in and got him healthy and ready for adoption. He was adopted at 5 months old, but sadly, his family has now decided he is “too big” and “too energetic.” They haven't been able to provide the training and care they promised, so our rescue stepped in to make sure Shadow got the vetting and love he deserves. <br/><br/>When he left his foster home at 5 months old, Shadow was crate-trained, leash-trained, and a happy, well-adjusted puppy. Now, after some instability, he’s developed a little anxiety and a few behavioral quirks – but here’s the good news: trainers agree these are completely fixable! With a predictable routine, patience, and lots of love, Shadow will blossom into the amazing dog we know he is inside.<br/><br/>Shadow is looking for a family who will truly commit – someone ready to embrace his energy, guide him with kindness, and give him the forever home he deserves.
