Shadow

Meet Shadow! This friendly, high-energy boy loves going on walks and is ready to find a home that can keep up with his enthusiasm for life.

Shadow has lived with another dog and did well, but he'll need slow, proper introductions to any resident pets or children, as his behavior around kids is unknown. He's still working on his potty training and leash manners. Positive reinforcement and a consistent routine will help this young boy succeed in his new home. Praise, treats, and plenty of encouragement when they go outside will help build confidence and make learning a positive experience. Regular potty breaks, especially after meals, naps, and playtime, will help them learn what's expected. With patience, consistency, and lots of praise, Shadow will have the opportunity to develop good habits and settle into his new routine at his pace. A patient home willing to help him learn and navigate his big puppy energy will be the perfect fit!

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
