Hi! I’m Shadow, a 1-year-old male Lab mix weighing about 37 pounds, and I was pulled from a high-kill shelter in Alabama. I’m that perfect medium-sized, medium-energy kind of guy—I love to play when it’s time to have fun, but I’m just as happy curling up for cuddles afterward. I do great with other dogs and really enjoy having canine friends. I can be a little shy with new situations at first, like getting out of my crate at the facility, but I’m never aggressive—just cautious. Once I understand what’s going on, I relax and do just fine. I can also be cat tested upon request. I’m a super sweet boy with a gentle heart who just needs a little patience when things are new. I’m fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on preventatives, and I’m ready to find a loving forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and right where I belong. Angie's Dog House's Adoption Policy

You fill out the application, it gets processed. If approved we then do a phone interview. If not local we ask for videos of their home, if local we do a home check. Then we schedule the meet and greet with their pets and our adoptable pet. If that goes well then they sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and bring the pet home.

Angie's Dog House is a non-profit, volunteer animal rescue organization based in Foley, AL. We have a foster network in Michigan and we transport adoptable dogs to Connecticut. We are dedicated to rescuing animals left homeless for whatever reason-animals in public shelters, where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to ...
