Shadi's Story

To the contrary, she is a very sweet, black lab / terrier mix who loves attention. At present, she is living in a foster home with a wonderful couple who have put a lot of time and love into caring for her. You see, she suffered mistreatment in her past, an awful experience that made her somewhat fearful of people outside her pack. Though otherwise very well behaved, she’ll require continued training in her new home to build on all the hard work she has already done to become more comfortable around strangers. Unfortunately, some of her mistreatment was at the hands of children, and therefore, it is preferable she be adopted into a home without small children who may remind her of her past. Other dogs, however, are not a problem, as she gets along great with them.
