Shade is 40 lbs of pure happy energy with a personality as big as his ears. Although he's shy at first, he warms up quickly and is ready to be your instant best friend. His favorite pastimes include playing with chew toys, playing with his canine foster sibling, and going out on adventures with his human. At the end of the day, he's an absolute snugglebug and loves to lounge and relax with his person. He is a quick learner, knows basic commands, and is making huge progress on a leash. He's potty trained, crate trained, and good with a dog door. An ideal home for Shade would be in an active home with at least one canine best friend for him to play with. <br/><br/>Note: Shade is heartworm positive. Heartworm treatment will be covered at no additional cost to the adopter.<br/><br/>Shade is fully vaccinated, microchipped, & neutered. His adoption fee is $300.<br/><br/>CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption.
