Seymour's Story
Seymour is a great big puppy with all that entails; he steals socks and towels and scatters them about, but he never chews them up. He absolutely loves to play fetch and gets along great with my own six dogs. He hasn’t been cat tested but he doesn’t seem to have a strong prey drive so he might do well with them. He is crate trained.

Basically, at this point, Seymour is a blank slate just waiting for a loving and guiding hand to teach him basic manners, etc. He is a Shepherd mix, beautiful and strong, with an abundance of love and, coupled with his willingness to please; he will be the Best. Boy. Ever. I promise!!

A little something from his foster :

When I first laid eyes on Seymour, literally starving to death, I knew we had to bring him home to give him a chance at life. Dr. Daigle at Mercy Veterinary Hospital examined him and said Seymour was within three days of dying; we couldn’t NOT give him a chance!

Seymour was too weak to hold his head up but he would still wag the tip of his tail when I loved on him- I knew he wanted to live. Our first challenge was getting him out of his crate to go outside to potty. He had to be carried the first day until he met my granddaughter, Greta, who coaxed him out and from that day forward, he was glued to her side (and mine!). Did I say he is Very affectionate?!

It took careful feeding and the right combination of medications to get rid of all his parasites, administered faithfully to him over to a period of 3-4 months and now Seymour is a Big, Beautiful, Boisterous Bundle of Love, ready to go on to new adventures with his forever family!

For the safety of our beloved rescue dogs all adoptions require a completed application, reference checks and a final contract signed basically promising you will neuter pet and will never breed or neglect the dog. Our application to adopt can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org.com or by requesting one by emailing brendajackjacks@yahoo.com

Once your application has been approved one of our team members will contact you to set up an interview. We select the best applicant for each animal based on each individual animal.

We can't wait to meet you and your match
