SERENITY's Story

Meet Serenity! Serenity came to the shelter on 9/2/25 and is a sensitive, gentle girl who does best in calm, low-key environments. While busy settings can be overwhelming for her, she shows a sweet and playful side when given patience and consistency. Outside of the kennel, Serenity is happy to get out, enjoys exploring the yard, sniffing, and playing fetch, and then settles in for quiet interaction. Volunteers describe her as soft, affectionate, and easy to handle. She takes treats nicely, walks well on leash, and is easy to return to her kennel. In playgroup, Serenity engages in gentle, vocal play but does best with calm, well-managed interactions. She responds well to guidance and benefits from structure. Serenity would thrive in a quiet home with someone willing to give her time, understanding, and love. With the right match, she has so much potential to blossom into a devoted companion.
