Serena/Moon's Story
Serena came to the shelter as a stray alongside her sister, Venus. She was lucky enough to go into foster quickly, but her journey took a difficult turn when she was later found abandoned in another county. When Serena returned to us, she wasn’t in good shape and needed time, patience, and a whole lot of love to heal.

Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, Serena has blossomed back into her affectionate, gentle self. She forms deep bonds with her people and absolutely loves being part of someone’s day, whether it’s soaking up attention, enjoying yard time, or just hanging out with her favorite humans.

She’s super treat-motivated, making training fun and easy, and she keeps her kennel pretty clean. Serena has good leash manners, wonderful mouth manners, and enjoys her daily walks. She also loves her yard time and is always ready for a little play or some one-on-one affection.

Serena is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations — now all she needs is a forever family who will never let her down again
