He warms up quickly and soon becomes a happy, affectionate boy who loves pets and giving kisses. Professional cuddler: After a good round of play, he’s just as happy to cuddle up on your lap, relax on the sofa, or curl up in his dog bed. Seamus is doing well with potty training and is learning basic commands like sit, stay, and off. He already knows come, touch, and look, and he does very well riding in the car. Waggy Butts & Happy Mutts's Adoption Policy

Adoption Process: How It Works Submit an Application Start by filling out our adoption application, providing information about your household, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a dog. This helps us make the best match possible for both you and the dog. Application Review Once we receive your application, we’ll review it and may contact you for more details. We will ask for photos of your home (or video chat if that makes you more comfortable). Meet the Dog If your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with the dog you’re interested in. This gives you the chance to spend time with the dog and see if they are the right fit for your family. Adoption Approval After the meet-and-greet, if both you and the rescue feel it’s a good match, we’ll move forward with finalizing the adoption. You’ll complete an adoption agreement outlining your responsibilities as the new pet parent. Adoption Fee We’ll collect the adoption fee, which helps cover the cost of the dog’s care while in the rescue, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and preventatives. Take Your Dog Home You can take your new dog home once the paperwork and fee are completed! We’re always here to support you during the transition and beyond if you have any questions or concerns.
