Scruffy has found her forever home with Kerri D in Billerica, MA<br/><br/>Scruffy will be at Open House on MONDAY, March 30, 3-5 pm at 106 Adams St in Medfield. MA. All are welcome at Open House, but priority is given to approved applicants. <br/><br/>Siblings Slick and Scruffy are 11 months old., and weigh about 25 pounds. Best guess at breed is a hound mix, and we expect that they will be medium size when fully grown. These pups were rescued from a hoarding situation, and have been in foster care in the South since late May. <br/><br/>Scruffy is a sweet puppy, who is shy at first meeting. She loves attention, being with people, and playing with toys. She get their exercise by running and playing with the other dogs in the foster home<br/><br/>Scruffy is looking for a home with a family that has time, energy and patience to play with, exercise and train a puppy. Scruffy would love to be included in family adventures. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.<br/><br/>All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. <br/>Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. <br/>Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.<br/><br/>Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.<br/>Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. <br/>Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.<br/><br/>Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
