Scruffy's Story

Scruffy is a female Wheaton Terrier/ Mini Schnauzer mixes. Scruffy is quite timid and needs plenty of coaxing to approach. Scruffy needs a patient home with someone who has experience with dogs who are timid. Scruffy is easily handled by people that have gained her trust, but that will take some time for her new people. Scruffy is used to being around other dogs both big or small and cats are ok too. Scruffy has never been leashed as her flight response is still high. She will need a very secure yard while she learns to adjust to being on a leash. A quiet adult only home with someone willing to work on building trust is best. she is both crate trained and loves being in the fenced in yard at the Haven. Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and microchipped prior to adoption. We adopt cats and kittens out as indoor only. Adoption fees • Dogs and Puppies- $600 • Cats and Kittens -$200
