Scrappy's Story

Meet the funniest and most animated dog at CGHS, Scrappy! Just like her name sake she's got some serious spirit and does not take any nonsense, all with some quick witted jokes. Scrappy is one of our long time residents coming in at just over 2 years in the shelter system but not without winning over everyone's hearts. She can be quite the vocal girl when alone so you must be ready for her to want to spend all her time with you, this girl would be great for any active hobbies. With the right amount of socialization and training she would be the perfect hiking or running dog. (Luckily she's very food motivated)

Scrappy definitely had a rough beginning in life so she's pretty dog selective, mostly with females, but we are working on pack walks and playgroups with familiar male dogs she knows. This girl is 47lbs but terrified of cats and because she can get too excited sometimes it's probably best she goes to an adult or 15yr+ children household only. Scrappy can be a very excitable girl and really just wants to give all her love to her person, she can be a little weary meeting men so she might be more in the market of finding her forever gal pal.

Here at CGHS she is a playful, fun-loving cuddle bug and we know that with the right person she could have such a great life on the outside. If you're interested in getting some dog training under your belt and lead an active lifestyle, consider this crazy girl!

If you are interested in adopting Scrappy, please head to our website and fill out an adoption application:
https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/adopt.html
