SCRAPPY's Story

Scrappy is an absolute love who’s just as happy hiking all day as he is snuggling on your lap. Currently in foster care, Scrappy is settling in nicely and beginning to show more of his personality. He has the classic schnauzer traits; smart, highly trainable, and a bit hard-headed.

Scrappy is working with a trainer and his foster mom on some of his quirks, including leash and barrier reactivity. His foster mom reports that he does well with other dogs, though he isn’t especially interested in playtime.

It is recommended that Scrappy go to a home without children, as he can become overwhelmed
