Scottie's Story

Meet Scottie!
Scottie is a year-old hound mix who LOVES other dogs. He is shy when he first meets you but quickly warms up! He loves zooming in the yard with his friends and would do well in a multi dog household! He loves belly rubs and likes to lay close to his people. He has not met a dog he didn't love!
He is neutered, fully UTD on his vaccines and flea and tick prevention!
If you are interested in Scottie please call us at 812-358-2141 option 4!

Update: 1/6/2026

Scottie is still looking for his forever home. Scottie is currently in a foster home with our local dog trainer Dog Training with Monica.
Scottie- a year and a half old male hound mix. He is neutered and fully up to date on his vaccines! He is dog and kid friendly. He may do best in a home with older children!
Scottie came to us back in August after running for a while. Scottie was scared of us but was able to be caught with another dog. Scottie quickly became a shelter favorite. He was soft and shy but we could tell he had so much love to give. He loved playing outside in the play yard with his friends.
In November we felt that Scottie would benefit from some socialization outside of the kennel setting. This is when Monica took him in! He has since come out of his shell nicely. He attends group training!
"Scottie has the sweetest face and the gentlest heart. He loves people, enjoys other dogs, and has a calm, warm energy that makes him easy to fall for. He is playful, cuddly, and always ready to make you smile. He listens well, he wants to please"
