I have the body of a Basset Hound. I currently weigh 35 pounds at roughly 6 months of age. I am a beautiful girl with lots of potential. My breed is not for a novice owner. Do your research on both breeds to better prepare yourself for my needs and upkeep. I will require some grooming, and I do shed.<br/><br/>I had never been on a leash prior to arriving at the shelter. I am cooperating but hesitant still. I will require a physically fenced yard to keep me safe and most of all happy. I am not fit for apartment life. Pending a meet and greet, I should match with another dog. I have not been introduced to cats at this time. I would do my best with children 8 years and older pending observed interaction.<br/><br/>I am a very sweet girl and will make a very loving companion for the right situation.
