Scottie's Story

Scottie is a sweet, energetic child and dog friendly 71 pound Shep mix. He was found abandoned in a field with his private parts mutilated due to an at home botched neuter. He was taken to Riverside Shelter where he was eventually scheduled for euthanasia. We saved him and reunited him with the woman who found him in the field and he's currently in foster care on her ranch! Let's Rescue Dogs's Adoption Policy
The first step in the process is to apply for the dog you are interested in on our website, www.letsrescuedogs.net If approved, you will be contacted via email. You will be required to submit a virtual home check by recording a clear video of where your new pet will eat, sleep, play and your backyard if applicable. If your home check approved, our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview to go over any questions and/or concerns you may have and to schedule a day and time for a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well you may take the dog home for a 7 day adoption trial. If you feel the dog is still a great fit after the trial, the adoption is finalized by signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee which includes the dogs spay/neuter, microchip, and core vaccines.
