Scott's Story

*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-7pm daily!

Scott can refer to the popular given name meaning "from Scotland" and I am a bit like a typical person from Scotland. Scottish people are known for having a mix of tough, independent, and practical traits but also for being friendly and welcoming. It may just take a sec or two to come out (and a few treats). I may be a bit nervous or reserved at first, but I have shown here that I can warm up to my friends quite nicely. I would appreciate a person or family who can give me the time and space to settle in and get comfortable -- and then I'll be your BFF! I am learning some of the foundational skills a dog needs to live with humans -- I have a solid sit and am working on the next level of skills (leash walking, touch etc.). It's quite fun when you realize there is a yummy treat waiting when you get it right! Do you have time and space in your home and heart for a reserved pup who is just waiting to show his precious self? PS- one volunteer said this about me, "Scott is an absolute silly goose cutie pie! He loves to sniff and run up to his person for pets. He is also potty trained and seems really neutral when he sees other dogs." I'm wonderful!
