Scooter is a sweet, affectionate, and smart boy who loves being with his people. He’s already learned "down" with a hand signal, is very food-motivated, and enjoys training, puzzles, and nose work. At home, he’s clean, settles easily near his people, and politely asks for affection with gentle nudges (belly rubs are a favorite!).<br/><br/><br/><br/>Scooter’s day foster called him the "easiest dog ever'! He is calm in the car, well-mannered in the house, and unfazed by barking dogs or passing cars. He enjoys relaxed walks and sniffing (he can pull a bit on leash), but indoors he’s an absolute dream: chill, cuddly, and easygoing.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Scooter is ready to be a loyal, loving companion for someone who wants a smart dog to share life with.<br/><br/><br/><br/>The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! We appreciate you're understanding and patience. **<br/><br/><br/><br/>HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location.<br/><br/><br/><br/>From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter):<br/><br/>To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday and all holidays.<br/><br/><br/><br/>From Foster Care (out of shelter):<br/><br/><br/><br/>Put the name of the dog(s) in the Subject Line of a new email.
