Scooter's Story

Scooter is a sweet, affectionate, and smart boy who loves being with his people. He’s already learned "down" with a hand signal, is very food-motivated, and enjoys training, puzzles, and nose work. At home, he’s clean, settles easily near his people, and politely asks for affection with gentle nudges (belly rubs are a favorite!).

Scooter’s day foster called him the "easiest dog ever'! He is calm in the car, well-mannered in the house, and unfazed by barking dogs or passing cars. He enjoys relaxed walks and sniffing (he can pull a bit on leash), but indoors he’s an absolute dream: chill, cuddly, and easygoing.

Scooter is ready to be a loyal, loving companion for someone who wants a smart dog to share life with.

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
