Scooter's Story

Scooter is approximately 6 years old. This handsome boy is equal parts playful and easygoing. He loves romping around with his doggie friends and soaking up all the attention he can get. Scooter is a gentle soul with the kindest heart. Scooter is on the shy side. He’s the kind of pup who needs time, patience, and understanding. He won’t be the dog who rushes into your arms on day one, but it doesn’t take long for Scooter’s sweet, gentle nature to shine through. Scooter is ready to find his forever family — one that will love him as much as he will love them. Scooter's adoption fee is $200. He is neutered and up-to-date with all vaccines, including rabies. He is heartworm negative. Scooter is also microchipped, which will be transferred to the adopter. Please note that we are a DUE DILIGENCE adoption organization. Part of our approval process requires, among other things: * Experienced pet home with verifiable vet references/history preferred, but we realize that everyone has to start somewhere, so all applications will be considered. *The majority but not all of our pets require a fenced yard. *Verifiable good veterinary history INCLUDING regular vaccination/visits and Good Heartworm Prevention history is a MUST! *Adopter must be able to have time to spend with the pup and be able to provide the pup a safe environment to live. *ALL our dogs are expected to be primarily INSIDE dogs. They MUST sleep inside the home. We truly understand that some folks have working dogs (i.e. farmers, ranchers,etc); however, the majority of our dogs have had a rough life prior to coming to us & we want to make sure that they are showered with LUV & maybe even a bit spoiled for the rest of their lives. Other facts are also considered, including whether children or other pets are a good fit with the dog. Must Luv Dogs reserves the right to deny any applications that we don't think are a good fit with the pup. Our first & foremost concern is the dog's best interest. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family. *We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense. * In order to be affordable and afford every family an opportunity to have a pup of their own, we keep our Adoption Fees at a low $150, but any additional donations are appreciated! Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies. Alternatively, you are always welcome to come meet any of our pups at one of our regular Adoption Events. All our adoption fees include spay/neuter, micro-chip, up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies.
