Scooter-ADOPTED

<p>SCOOTER 11/27/08: Sweet Scooter is still in his foster home...waiting for someone to take an interest in him. This is such a sweet boy. Scooter gets along well with other dogs and children. He just needs a little help from his doggie angels to get the surgery he needs. So far Scooter's angels have raised $115.00 for him - which is not enough for hip surgery...His surgeries with require at least $2000. Please help him. Though he is very happy in his foster home - He should not spend his life in limbo.<br/>8/19/08:Oh my goodness - have you ever seen a cuter face? Poor Scooter is only 12-18 months old. He appears to be a purebred Cocker Spaniel. Scooter was found as a stray - dirty and matted. He is such a sweet dog! Scooter is currently in a foster home where he enjoys the company of other dogs (including Rascal and Polly - also listed on this site). He is also wonderful with children. His foster's grandchildren play with him and Scooter likes to climb into their sleeping bags to cuddle. The sad part of this story is that Scooter has hip dysplasia in his rear right hip and requires surgery. The vet feels that this may have been a birth defect. Scooter gets around just fine - but sometimes when he is tired he will hop on three legs and cry a bit. This surgery is very expensive - and we really could use your help.
