Meet handsome Scooter! He's a 7-year-old gentleman weighing about 20lbs. After losing his owner suddenly, Scooter would do best in a quiet home & preferably as the only dog where he can have all the attention to himself. Since it takes him a bit to warm up, Scooter will need a patient human willing to give him the time & space to settle in & understand that he is safe & loved. Affection & playtime are on his terms but once he warms up he is such a sweetheart & will adorn you with lots of little kisses! He loves to nap & lounge, but he'll do the zoomies & run around when he gets excited! He requires minimal exercise but enjoys a daily walk around the neighborhood & walks very well on a leash. Scooter sleeps great through the night (preferably on your bed) & does very well going potty outside. With an established routine in his forever home, accidents won't be an issue. Scooter gets along well with other dogs, but he doesn't engage very much; he prefers to be near his humans. Cats are unknown but we imagine he'd do well. He would do best with older children.
