My name is Scooby. I am a 4-month-old male lab mix weighing about 15 pounds, but growing. I am a goofy and lovable boy. I love snuggling and will try to jump into your lap. When I met some kids, I tried to snuggle right into their laps, too. I am a great kisser and give lots of them! I am usually the first one to fall asleep; if I'm not on a lap, my sisters use me as their pillow. Potty training is going well. I am the most consistent of my crew in taking care of business outside. "Sit" is a skill that I am just learning and will benefit from some one-on-one focus. I love to run and play. I will play with toys, dogs, and people...I'm not picky: I love playtime! I can sleep just about anywhere, but my favorite place is to snuggle with my people and with my siblings. My foster parents give me a comfortable bed in a crate to sleep in at night, and I have spent time in there during the day, too. It's not my favorite, but I settle down quickly. I'm looking for my forever home. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home. <br/><br/>Current Adoption Fees Are:<br/>$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old<br/>$375+tax for ages 4-7<br/>$275+tax for ages 8 and up<br/>Bonded pairs vary<br/><br/>The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
