Scooby's Story

Scooby
Fostered in North Bay, Ontario
8month old male/neutered
Adoption fee $500

Scooby is growing up in foster care. Finding him a home he can learn and grow up in would be fantastic!

I'm Scooby! I’m a certified handsome Rez dog and I’m on the lookout for my forever home!? I LOVE going on walks with my foster family (especially with the kiddos!), and I’m also a fan of hanging out with my doggie buddies. I get a little nervous when I see cars—I'm working on it though, promise! I don’t pull too much on walks, but I’m still perfecting my "calm and collected" walking style.
After a fun walk, I’m ready for a snooze, but don’t worry—I’m always up for a game of fetch! I’m super smart, and I’ve already mastered “sit” and “gentle,” but “lay down” and “stay” are still in progress. I’m a quick learner though, so I’ll get there in no time! I love to show off my skills, so get ready for some fun training sessions!
I’m a cuddle bug who LOVES belly rubs and kisses! I’m super gentle with the toddler here, though I might sneak a snack from their hands (but I’m learning not to do that!). I’m getting better at keeping my paws to myself and respecting snack time.
Toys? Oh, I LOVE toys! I just carry them around like little babies. When it’s bedtime, I’m totally cool with going into my crate (well, once I get a treat, that is), and then I settle right in like the good boy I am! A few comfy blankets and I’m out like a light, ready for another adventure the next day.
I’m looking for a family who loves to play, cuddle, and give me lots of patience while I learn new things. Could you be my perfect match?
