Welcome to Husker Weim Rescue, Inc., our 4 year old beauty, Miss Scarlett.<br/> She was born August, 2020. <br/>Scarlett is a sweet dog with kids not afraid to go up to any kid for a pet. Kind of leery of strangers especially men. Sudden movements towards her or she thinks she's in trouble she will go straight to her kennel but has been improving. The kennel is her safe space. She enjoys sleeping in her kennel well at night but will get a little restless when trying to sleep out of her kennel. Overall she does pretty good. She has a sweet playful personality when she relaxes. Housebroken and will let you know when she has to go out but has learned our dog doors pretty quickly. Loves being outside playing and exploring. Has no food aggression with other dogs around her food bowl or when receiving treats side by side other dogs. <br/>Knows some commands walks pretty well on a leash, Only pulls at first and then settles in. Has growled at other dogs in passing but corrects very easily. Basic obedience class would do wonders for her. She is a awesome car rider. <br/>Miss Scarlett has little dominance issue but after she gets to know dogs that are around her size or bigger she gets along and plays very well. She loves playing with her foster brother, a larger blue weim. <br/>Of course, Miss Scarlett is not comfortable around smaller dogs that are a lot smaller than her. So we say NO to homes with little dogs and cats. They appear to her as a nice snack. <br/>Miss Scarlett has just gotten her vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
