Scarlett's Story
Scarlett - owner surrendered about four years ago. Scarlett is a pretty little gal but also a biter. After three years in rescue, she is allowing me to pet her, even crawls up beside me for a little me time, but you'd better wear something you don't mind getting soiled if you try to pick her up. I wonder if perhaps she wasn't dropped when she was younger. Scarlett is estimated to be around six years old, but in my opinion, is not ready to be put up for adoption, unless it would be with an extremely patient couple willing to wait until she learns to trust humans again.

______________________
FOR SPONSORSHIP ONLY

Contact us today about sponsoring one of our senior permanent residents. They are currently in our senior-non-adoptable program for dogs with issues that don't allow them to go to new homes. It would have to be people who were willing to care for a disabled senior dog who still has love to give. Even $10 a month would help defray the costs of their care.

https://lucyslostlovedones.org/lucy/donations/

Or see all our seniors and sanctuary dogs here:

https://lucyslostlovedones.org/seniors.htm
