Scarlet's Story

Scarlet is the epitome of affection and playfulness with a good dose of curiosity. At a recent event at Barnes and Noble on a busy Saturday, she stood facing the door so she could greet everyone who entered.
Scarlet not only loves people but other dogs too, showering all with kisses. She especially finds joy in a canine pal who likes to play chase and wrestle.
This puppy loves water, whether it’s a wading pool or a farm pond.
When facing something new, Scarlet takes time to size it up. She’s cautious until she figures it out, but she’s not afraid.
Scarlet pays attention to the world around her. She shows the potential of being a good watchdog by barking at distant noises.
Scarlet has been fostered since July 14, when she was rescued after being abandoned on a country road at about 12 weeks old. Despite being dumped, she shows no sign of trauma or emotional issues. Rather, she has a positive, joyful attitude.

Scarlet has been vaccinated & is on heartworm/flea/tick preventative. We will follow up & have her spayed & microchipped when she is a little older.
She is crate trained & potty trained.

For more information about Scarlet, contact Susan at daiseymaggie@yahoo.com.

To fill out the adoption application, go to abbeyroadrescue.com
