Sawyer II's Story
Hi! My name is Sawyer and I was born June 4th this past summer. My story begins being rescued along with my litter mates. I am new to a lot of things but my foster mom, dad, and sister are showing me the ropes and teaching me a lot! I love car rides and sticking my head out the window, I know sit, lay down, learning how to catch, and stay (who ever came up with such a crazy command) and I know how to use stairs now. I am housebroken, but once in a while I might have an accident if I get too nervous or excited. My foster parents also have these things called "cats". At first I was terrified of them, but now I just whine and they let me sniff them.
Strangers still scare me. I bark and hide in my kennel and my foster mom let's me know it's ok to do that. I need someone who is going to have patience with me, give me my space and let's me come to them on my own terms. I would do best in a home with another dog.
My two most favorite things to do are play with my foster sister and cuddle. Another thing I love are belly rubs. Maybe I can be your forever cuddle bug.
