Sawyer - Foster Needed

Meet Sawyer - The Puppy Who Got a Second Chance... Now He Just Needs You!

Eleven-month-old Sawyer is just a puppy, yet he has spent far too much of his young life stuck in boarding, waiting for someone to choose him. He has now been waiting longer than any other American Lab Rescue dog currently looking for a foster home. Imagine being a youngster and watching other dogs come and go while you’re still waiting for your turn. Sawyer deserves to know what it feels like to wake up in a home, have a family of his own, play in the yard, go for walks, and fall asleep knowing he belongs. He has so much love and life ahead of him—but he needs someone to give him that chance. Whether you're looking for a foster or a forever family member, Sawyer is ready to make memories, learn new things, and enjoy all the fun that comes with having a family. He loves chasing a ball with all the fun energy a puppy has. Sawyer is at that wonderful age where he's eager to learn, bond with his people, and grow into an amazing lifelong companion. All he needs is a family willing to show him the love, structure and happiness every puppy deserves. Sawyer is current with his vaccinations, heartworm negative and he weighs 45 pounds. The shelter couldn't take away Sawyer's bright spirit—and now he's hoping someone will see just how special he is. If you see that spark in Sawyer and would like to bring him home apply now with a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com.

Please don’t let Sawyer grow up in boarding. His forever family could be out there right now. Or maybe someone can open their home as a foster and finally give this sweet boy the freedom and love he has been waiting for. If you can't foster or adopt, please share Sawyer.

Sawyer is waiting.
