Sawyer's Story

In addition to having a gorgeous red tipped coat, handsome Sawyer has the most magnetic and beautiful green eyes you will see on a dog. This lithe and curious 1-1/2 year old adores his playmates, loves to run and play and is crazy about his canine siblings as well as his squeaky ball. He is good with large packs of dogs also.

Sawyer loves his bed, loves a nightly belly rub and adores his canine companions, especially when it's play time. He sleeps very quietly all night without making a sound, hasn't had any accidents or been destructive and is accustomed to being handled by several different caregivers.

While most huskies are escape artists, this fellow has not even attempted to escape a single time from his play pasture; he just loves hanging out and playing with his canine friends. He's doing very well walking on a leash and a walk through the woods is huge exploration experience for him. He learned very quickly to potty on leash for which he receives monumental praise and now climbs into the car all by himself.

Sawyer loves ‘home cooking' and accepts his treats oh so gently. He's become accustomed to riding in the car and seems to enjoy the adventure. What a long way this little fellow has come!

Constantly learning and adapting, Sawyer is very moldable and will make someone a fantastic pet. He deserves a patient family who will be willing to earn his trust. His new family MUST have a canine companion and a fenced in yard. Since he doesn't exhibit your typical husky traits of escaping, we don't feel an experienced husky owner is a must.

If you want meet Sawyer, please submit an application.
