SAWYER CRUZ's Story
Sweetheart Sawyer Cruz came to us from San Bernadino City Animal Shelter where he was brought in as a stray.

Sawyer is just the sweetest, chillest little guy ever and will not mind being an only dog. He desires to be by you whatever you may be doing and is approximately five years young and 11 pounds. He was pretty skinny when we rescued him and is very polite eating his homemade food along side his buddies ~ ok I admit I'm letting him get a little chunky lol! Sawyer does great in the car and gets along with all of the rescues he is currently fostered with. He will bark protectively at the gardener and the poolman but we consider that appropriate barking. Otherwise, not much fazes him and he is eager to please and is potty trained.

Sawyer has had a complete blood panel, dental under anesthesia, neuter, all vaccines, bordatella, 3 year rabies, fecal to laboratory, heartworm test and is microchipped. He is very healthy and ready for his forever home.

You are retired and have one adult home all day. An easygoing companion dog would be fine but he really doesn't need one. He will do well in public especially if you travel or go out a lot. Or if you just hang at home he'd like that too. We think he would be fine with grandkids but we have learned he is afraid of large dogs. My brother just visited with his 90 pound German Shepherd and Sawyer was afraid of him.

Our adoption donation for adult dogs is $750.00. If you are interested in meeting Sawyer, email fluffsandscruffs@aol.com for an application or call Lisa Michelle at 310 980 3383 for more info and with any questions. Sawyer comes with all original paperwork from the day we got him from the shelter til now including shelter pull papers and all medical records. We call this chain of custody.

Ps. We had to trim the hair under his chin (this is part of his "look") because it was stained. It is growing out now. Sawyer has been professionally groomed three times now, with three different groomers and does well every single time. He is non shedding and his hair is very soft like as rabbit.
