Once our application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Sawyer. <br/><br/>Sawyer is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.<br/><br/>Meet Sawyer!<br/><br/>Sawyer is a handsome, 2 year old male, pittie mix. Sawyer was found as a stray by a kind family. The family noticed his sweet and loving demeanor and didn't want him to end up in a shelter, so they took him in and reached out to us for help with getting him adopted. Sawyer currently weighs 52 pounds and is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and ready to find a family to call his own!<br/><br/>Sawyer is the silliest pup around and constantly has us laughing! It looks like he's trying to pick up radio frequency with his on ear that's always on alert! Sawyer is dog friendly and he enjoys playing with other dogs. He can have a moderate energy level, but is also able to settle when it's time to settle. He gets very excited when he sees other dogs and wants to make friends with everyone! <br/><br/>Sawyer would prefer a home without cats. <br/><br/>Sawyer is kid friendly! He currently lives with an 11 year old boy in his foster home and he absolutely adores him! <br/><br/>Sawyer walks well on a leash! He gets excited if he sees squirrels, but for the most part he does really well on leash. <br/><br/>Sawyer is fully potty trained! He's not a huge fan of the crate, but he's a perfect angel if left out to free roam. He just relaxes and waits for you to return home. <br/><br/>Here's a small blurb about Sawyer from his foster mom: <br/>Sawyer is a bundle of LOVE! He thinks he's a lapdog and loves to be cuddled. He would prefer to be the little spoon if you're okay with being the big spoon :)<br/>He's a great work from home buddy! He will just lay next to my desk on his dog bed and watch me work. He enjoys belly rubs and is overall, just a sweet, happy boy! He would make for a great adventure buddy as he loves going out and exploring. He's also incredibly smart! I gave him a puzzle toy and he figured it out on his 2nd try. He's very silly and constantly has us laughing!
