Savina

Savina is named after the Savina pepper, and just like her namesake, she's a little spicy with a whole lot of personality. She can be wary of strangers at first and prefers to take things at her own pace, but once she warms up, her loyalty and affection really come through. She especially bonds well with women and has made great progress opening up since being here.<br/><br/>Savina is highly food motivated (treats are the way to her heart!), great on leash, and does well with clear structure and routine. She does have some separation anxiety and a bit of "escape artist" talent when it comes to fencing, so she'll need a secure setup and a home that understands her needs. Savina would thrive in an adult-only household with patient, experienced humans who can respect her boundaries and help her continue to build confidence. Savina enjoys getting outside and exploring the smells and spaces around the shelter. She does well on her leash,and walks right alongside you. She enjoys a calm environment, as that is where she feels most comfortable. Savina has been spayed and is fully up to date on all her vaccinations."
