Savannah's Story

Meet our sweet young mama dog, Savannah. Barely more than a pup herself, Savannah is a playful and fun 1 year old Black Lab mix who weighs about 50 pounds.

Savannah is house trained and crate trained. She does sleep in a crate at night and is comfortable in her crate, although she needs a little guidance to go into it.

Savannah is great with other dogs and is even good with cats. She has a lot of energy so she may be best with older kids, or young kids who are dog savvy enough that they won’t mind occasionally getting knocked over!

Savannah is so happy about not being a mama anymore, she is letting her mischievous side out sometimes! She loves to take things outside to the yard and play with them (and…. sometimes chew them!).

Savannah is a jumper when she gets excited. She gets off when told to. She is not a barker unless she is sounding a warning. Savannah is a fast learner and seems to really want to please, so she works hard to be her best self.

Savannah has a heart of gold and will excel with consistency and training. She is looking for an active home and a family who want to show her that life is full of fun adventures!

Savannah is available for adoption on, or after, April 4th, 2026

If you are interested in Savannah and are an approved adopter, please contact your Adoption Coordinator to be added to Savannah’s list.
