Meet Saucy Pawci! <br/><br/>This gorgeous girl is a 47-pound, midsize black Retriever mix who's just a little over a year old - but she's already shown incredible resilience and heart. Saucy Pawci was abandoned at a worksite along with two other dogs and was thankfully rescued by officers from the Humane Education Society. Despite her rough start, she's been nothing but sweet and patient while in our care.<br/><br/>It appears Saucy Pawci has already been a young mom once in her short life, and now it's her turn to be cared for and loved. She can be a little standoffish at first, but once she knows you're kind, she melts into affection and loves being doted on. She's gentle during bath time, does well with other dogs (she came in with one who may have been her brother - now happily adopted!), and would truly thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard where she can feel safe and stretch her legs.<br/><br/>Saucy Pawci will be ready to go home after her spay, and she can't wait to start her new chapter - one filled with love, care, and a forever family who sees how special she is.
