Sassy - ADOPTED!!!

*****SASSY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!*****<br/><br/><br/>Sassy is a very affectionate, dignified and loyal COLLIE girl who is incredibly smart and gentle. She loves meeting people and when interacting with her foster home's neighbours and friends, she is so calm and happy. Everyone remarks how sweet she is.<br/> <br/>She loves getting treats, (of course) and getting affection and pets from her favourite people. Her foster mom says "Sassy follows me around the house and I must say that her personality and manners are likely the best I've seen!" <br/>Although Sassy is crate trained, she is well behaved and no problem roaming free in the house when left alone. She is quiet and well behaved for car rides.<br/><br/>Sassy turned 7 years old in July and has just had a full dental so now has gleaming white teeth!<br/><br/>Sassy has a lot of love to give and would make the perfect companion for someone home most of the time and who loves to walk.<br/><br/>Sassy is being fostered in Chatham.<br/><br/>***********************************************<br/><br/>If you have a securely fenced yard and are interested in adopting SASSY or any of our dogs, the first step is to complete an Adoption Application at www.sosr.ca/apply-to-adopt so that we can determine whether you are a good match for one of the dogs. If we have a possible match, you would then have a telephone interview, speak to the foster mom, have home visit by one of our volunteers and vet reference check. Once you have been approved for adoption you can then meet the dog at his foster home. At that time, if you would like to have him as a new family member, you would complete the adoption paperwork and take him home.
